Refund and Cancellation Policy

You can cancel at any time, and no further payments are taken. Because training starts the moment you pay, a payment is refunded only in the cases below.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel a monthly or yearly subscription at any time, in either of these ways:

In the app: open the account menu and choose Cancel subscription.
By email: write to skyelish@43airschool.com from the email address on your account. We cancel it within 2 business days and confirm by email.

When you cancel, PayFast takes no further payments. You keep using Skyelish until the end of the month or year you have already paid for. There is no cancellation fee.

Refunds

Skyelish is training delivered online, and it starts as soon as your payment is confirmed. So we refund a payment in full only when:

You have not used it. You ask within 7 days of your first payment on a plan, and you have not started any session, lesson, unit or flight since paying.
We took it by mistake. A payment taken after you cancelled, taken twice for the same period, or for the wrong amount.
We could not deliver it. Skyelish did not work for you for a period because of a fault on our side that we could not fix.
43 Air School does not go ahead with your enrolment. If the school declines or cancels your place, we refund the months (or, on a yearly plan, the full months) you have paid for but not yet started.

Otherwise payments already made are not refunded, and cancelling stops the next one. A yearly plan is not refunded in part.

43 Air School cadets

For cadets enrolling at 43 Air School, Skyelish is a required part of the online phase before arriving on base. If you withdraw from your enrolment, cancel your subscription as above; any refund of your Skyelish payments follows this policy. Refunds of other course fees are covered by your enrolment agreement with the school, not by this policy.

How a refund is paid

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, through PayFast. We start the refund within 5 business days of agreeing it. Your bank decides how soon it shows on your statement, usually within 10 business days. Refunds are paid in South African rand, the currency you were charged in.

Flight schools

A school can cancel its seats at any time by emailing us. No further monthly payments are taken. Fewer seats take effect from the next monthly payment. A school's payments are refunded in the same cases as above.

Your rights

This policy does not take away any right you have under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
